Chui Lodge is found above Lake Naivasha overlooking a waterhole and within the private Oserian 7,000 hectacre wildlife sanctuary and with the Mau Escarpment in the background. The Masai translation of the word Oserian is a “place of peace”. The buildings are built from local bush stone and timbers.

The lodge has 8 ensuite individual luxurious cottages each four-poster king-sized beds, fireplaces, their own veranda and views of the Rift Valley. All the rooms are distinctively decorated with local artwork and handcarved furniture. The dining room, lounge and bar are in the main building with its African carvings and antiques. The Lodge has a heated swimming pool with views across the waterhole and the wildlife sanctuary beyond. All electricity used at Chui Lodge comes from a nearby geothermal source.

Guests can enjoy bush drives, boat and fishing tips on Lake Naivasha, and the Hell’s Gate National Park is close by (Nakuru National Park is a little further).

The Lodge is accessible by road from Nairobi (1-1/2 hours) or by charter flight to a nearby airstrip.
