The Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is situated amidst the foothills of the Virunga mountains, and close to the headquarters of the Parc National des Volcans from which all the gorilla treks start.
The lodge enjoys spectacular views of the volcanoes and the surrounding countryside. Guest cottages are ensuite and have log fires.
The lodge is operated by Governors’ Camp, but owned by a Community Trust (SACOLA), with community fees from the lodge supporting local livelihood and conservation initiatives.
