Rwanda

Rwanda has become a new destination for the East African traveler. Since the genocide of the mid-1990s, the country has made a spectacular economic recovery. It is a predominantly mountainous country, with a temperate tropical climate. There are three national parks, of which the Volcanoes National Park is probably best known because it is home to about one-third of the world’s mountain gorillas. The capital, Kigali, is admired for its orderliness and entrepreneurial stance.
